I said that i would make one more post about the end of the season with terek so here it is..

let’s see how i did in the rest 14 matches..

I had some good results and specially beating CSKA was really important.

As you can see we dominated in the play offs. The point difference increased and we celebrated the league tittle.!! These matches was not difficult only for me…CSKA lost many points too and i won the league 3 matches before the end. So the last 3 losses was of none importance…Actually i went on holiday on these matches…haha…

This was a great success for me… I was very pleased that i managed to win the Russian League with Terek in the 1st season. My team was much worse compared to the big russian teams but i did it!

I owe much of the success to this guy….

Ewerthon

however i had some extremely serious problems in my finances. By the time the league ended i was about 10 M in deficit. I really have ZERO income…and my balance reduces greatly every month…Even the fact that a new board member took over the club didnt help the things. He just secured a bank loan and soon after thatmy balance was again many millions below zero.

Moreover , ALL the russian players are amazingly expensive…i cant understand why…

For example look at this guy.. He is nothing special but look how much dinamo asks for him…NO WAY !! i have only 1M for the new season…

I dont think i can achieve any greater things …The team has no potential…many of my players are getting old and i cant find no one new to replace them since i must have 5 russians in the 1st team….

Anyway…i am very happy about the success the 1.5 year i was managing Terek… As i said in the previous post i am on a holiday of FMCROWD but i just wanted to show you the end of the league..

We had an amazing first half of the league. We were leading the league race after some great results and lets see how we did until the 30th game.

YES!…i managed to finish the normal period 1st..without playoffs we would be the champions.. However we still have 14 difficult games before we can win it.
My players continued the good work and we manage to create a quite big difference from the other teams.

Player stats:

Ewerthon is still leading the top scorers list with some great performances while Toloi is doing a amazing job in the back. However Mauricio is my favorite player with great passing ability and many assists. however the fact is the 2nd half of the season was not the same about our performances but luckily we stayed in top after some stable performances against the big teams.

It will be very difficult for me to win most of these games but fortunately i have 5 points in advantage of the 2nd CSKA …

 

I want also to say that i ll probably have a break from FM Crowd … I have a quite tight schedule in the next few days and i wont play that much FM and since posting requires some time i need to cut it off . To be honest i am also a bit tired after the many recent posts i have published so i really need a break .

I ll make a post about the end of the season of course but after then i wont post for a while. However I am still going to read and comment your blogs as ofter as i can….

The Season started in 13/3/2011 with a home match against Kuban.

I have to say again that after the 30 games of the normal period of the league i ll teams split into 2 groups . I am definetely going to be in the top 8 group and i ll have to face again the top 8 teams of the league twice. So 44 games in total for the first season.

Let’s take a look at the 1st 15 of them.

Only League matches so far and we are doing a great job.

 

We are in the top of the league after having some great results. Zenit and Rubin though are very dissapointing so far and Spaletti also got sacked. Leading the league is great success for Terek and i hope we continue this way.

Ewerton and R. Toloi are amazing so far.Ewerton shows great scoring ability while Toloi is like a rock in my defence. Mauricio’s performances are also a contributing factor for the great run of results.
Ganso is very good too but i am expecting even more from him. He probably needs some time to ajuct his life style in Russia.

Now lets see some match Highlights.

Its probably the most epic game i ve ever played. Look at the goals. Each time i scored one i conceded just in the next key chance of Kryljia. Luckily Ewerthon scored the winning goal for me in 93th minute! ! !

We had also some great results in the derbies.

Despite losing 2 of them against Rubin and Dinamo we managed to win all the other’s against Lokomotiv , CSKA , Anzhi(rivals), Spartak(rivals) and Zenit…

Finally as i told you the players i ve agreed to sell back in February joinned their new teams and i got the money on my balance.

Each month we are losing a few money but in the home matches fan-numbers has already increased …So i think i ll find the balance and maybe win money every month.

Until now that is all i have to present to you. My next post (probably tomorrow) will be about the end of the normal period i guess.. however i ll see. maybe i make a post about some months earlier..

So…Terek Grozny hired Orestis Sarakatsanos as their new manager.
I selected International Player in the past experience to make things a bit more easy in the beggining..

I was given great money to spend in the 1st transfer period.

Also the team’s balance looks great but every team in russia is in a big profit.

Anyway…Lets take a look in my squad in the start. I have some good players for my level and since my reputation is quite poor i cant attact yet many big names.

I consider Jiranek , Mauricio and Ewerthon the key players of my squad and lets take a look at them:

Jiranek:

He is a great defender for my team. He is a bit old but still a great player specially for my level.

Mauricio:

He is probably the best player i have. This young brazilian is very talented and i believe he can be an icon for this club

Ewerthon:

Some of you maybe know him. I used to sign this guy in some really old versions of the game, probably cm03 …
I am emotionally attached with him. He is very quick and still good despite he had some poor seasons the previous year.

One more quality player for my team is the best transfer they completed in the summer in real life:

Legear:

He is very good for me ,very quick but he has extremely poor physical attributes. However he is irreplaceable in the Right side.

 

Now lets see my 1st transfers.

I decided to sold only 2 of my players but their transfers will be completed when the summer transfer window oppens cause the game starts in February.

Antonio Ferreira 1.5 M Sandard

Blagoy Georgiev : 3.4 M Vitesse

and i also released some of them to free same wages.

As you all know i am forced to always have 5 russians in my 1st team. So i searched for good russian players but unfortunately the only one interested joinning me who was also quite good is Gabulov.

Gabulov:

He is a good defender for me and he has good potential to be key player in the future or bring me some money.

Now…i want to share with you a really AMAZING transfer…ready for it???

 

 

Ganso! ! :

You may wonder how i was able to sign him. As i said i selected Professional Player in my past experience and so he was willing to join Terek only if i offered him a big contract.
54K per week is much more than the average wage of my team but it s not that bad considering his amazing quality ! ! ! I was surprised to see that Santos accepted a bid of 9.5 M for him (+50% of his next sale) but generally player’s prices significantly reduce when you try to sign him with a low reputation team.

He will undoubtly be the leader of this team and i have to build my future terek squad based on this guy.

I really love this signing cause i find it quite realistic . A great brazilian talent signs for a Russian team with much money…..Surely in the future i ll face difficulties to keep him in the club but i believe he wont go anywhere.

The final transfer of the window was one more brazilian. You all know him…
Rafael Toloi:

Actually i didnt have the money to sign him but i really wanted to. So i asked my board to sign the player for me and fortunately they accepted.

He ll be a great defender for me . He ll definetely lead the defence but i ll probably have troubles to keep him for years. I really hope he stays or at least i can get some great money from selling him.

I am very pleased with my current squad. I have some great players in the 1st team and my squad has enough depth . I think i can compete the big teams for the top 8 positions and after then play offs but very long way until then.

I hope i can fulfil my dreams and ambitions with Terek Grozny specially after the signing of Ganso and Toloi.

Thats all until now. I started the game yesterday so i ve progressed a bit. Tomorrow i ll make a post about the 1st months of the season.

After the bad news about QPR save i was looking for a new team. I didn’t want to manage again a team of the big leagues (England, Spain, Italy ,Germany) so i was searching for a good challenge in lower reputation Leagues.

I have a great sympathy in Russian League so the team i decided to manage is…

Managing a russian team is the best way for me to prevent my self from spending much on signing players and completely changing my squad. My squad must always have at least 5 russian players and that makes it difficult to sign star foreign players. Russian teams also dont have any great income through the season so i have to be careful with my finances and rely on young players and improve my youth system in the future.

Talking about Terek, they only tittle they have is 1 Russian cup in 2004. They dont have any great history or success in Russian League and they are not considered one of the big teams in Russia.

In real life in the start of 2011 they hired Ruud Gullit as their manager but soon he got fired because of the poor results. Their new owner seems to have some ambitions for the club but seems that he cant competee Anzhi’s Zenit’s or Rubin’s money.

Luckily for me Terek has a great stadium of 30.000 seats . This will be important to increase my income but why the fuck the prices are so low?

Obliously because Chechnya is not one of the best places in earth…

I hope in next years the tickets will be a bit more expensive and my fans will fill the stadium in every home match. I believe that is possible considering i will soon play in europe.

In this stage of the game i can’t tell exactly what my goals are cause i dont know what can i achieve with this team. However i already have some certain goals. I would like of course to qualify to european competitions as soon as possible and win League tittles. Maybe winning a european competion is a dream far far away but currently i am in a mood to play with Terek many years. But, it depends. I hope my board will help me achieve my ambitions and goals and make a Terek a great Russian side. I dont think i could surpass Spartak Moscow’s league success (9 tittles) but i am sure i can be more succesfull than Zenit, CSKA and Rubin.

So.. i wont be able to spend great money with Terek and i must rely on newcomers to improve my squad and my finances. It really looks like a great challenge to me and i hope i ll stick with this team.

A very interesting fact is that by the end of this season Russian league will be as the other european league’s . It will start in summer and not in the winter . That means that in the first season i have to play play-off matches after the end of the normal season period. After the 30 matches the Top 8 and lower 8 teams make 2 groups and teams in each group plays each other twice again .That means 14 more matches for me the 1st season against the best russian teams and that makes even more difficult for me to qualify for europa league, champions league and of course the league.

So that’s all until now…Next post will be about the start of the season…
